Limited Warranty

Principal Helmets warrants its helmets against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of original retail purchase by the original owner.

This warranty applies only to products purchased from Principal Helmets or an authorized Principal dealer. Proof of purchase is required for warranty consideration.

What is covered

• Manufacturing defects
• Material defects
• Defective assembly
• Defective visor mechanisms
• Defective vent mechanisms
• Defective retention system components
• Interior liner defects caused by materials or workmanship

What is not covered

• Crash, impact, drop, or accident damage
• Normal wear and tear
• Scratches, scuffs, or cosmetic damage
• Visor scratches or damage from use
• Improper cleaning, storage, or maintenance
• Misuse, neglect, abuse, or modification
• Products purchased from unauthorized sellers
• Products with removed or altered certification labels

How to submit a warranty request

1. Contact Principal support with your order number or proof of purchase.
2. Include the helmet model, size, color, and a clear description of the issue.
3. Attach clear photos showing the issue, including close-up images and one wider image of the product.
4. Our team will review the claim and may request additional information or product inspection.
5. If approved, Principal may repair the product, replace the product, replace the affected component, or issue store credit.

Safety notice

Any helmet involved in a crash or significant impact should be replaced immediately, even if no visible damage is present. Helmets submitted with evidence of impact damage are not eligible for warranty coverage.
